Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Lansing, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The project shall consist of one lump sum base bid proposal for the following work: Contractor to provide work as indicated on the Project Drawings and herein specified: Heritage Middle School 1. Rehabilitation of existing School and District Administrative Area and provision of an addition. Administration Rehabilitation Area: 5,157 square feet. Addition Area: 1,408 square feet. Scope includes interior demolition, interior and exterior concrete, masonry exterior walls, steel joists and decking, metal wall panels, PVC roofing, metal stud and gypsum drywall interior walls, masonry interior walls, doors/frames, windows, aluminum storefront, suspended acoustical tile ceilings, flooring, paint, casework, HVAC/mechanical, plumbing, electrical/lighting and fire alarm work. 2. Provision of an exterior polycarbonate canopy with a steel structure. Scope includes concrete, masonry, structural steel, polycarbonate canopy and electrical/lighting work. 3. Rehabilitation of Receiving Area and Gym Storage Room. Scope includes interior demolition, masonry, doors/frames, wire mesh partition, painting and electrical work. 4. Replacement of student lockers and replacement of flooring in main locker area. Nathan Hale Elementary School 1. Removal of seven (7) moveable partitions. Scope includes metal stud and gypsum drywall wall, paint and electrical work. All proposals shall be enclosed and sealed in an envelope and have a space on the outside of the envelope properly filled in with the name of the Contractor, name of the trade, name of the job and date of opening. Contractors submitting bids shall be notified after Bid Opening as to the Bidder's List and Base Bid Proposal by all Contractors. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
