Sizes of the water lines needing repair are 3/4 to 12" water lines with depths ranging from 2 ft. to 8 ft. This includes mobilization, traffic control, backhoe, 2 dump trucks, and fuel. Contractor must have trench safety equipment and tamping equipment. A dump truck is the preferred method to remove spoils from the job site. The City will provide all repair materials including backfill and will make all HMAC repairs in roadway using city crews. The engineers estimate for this project is $100,000.00.
