Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will improve Monroe Road between North Wendover Road and Eaton Road to create a more pedestrian-oriented corridor. The project will also install a pedestrian hybrid beacon in front of Time Out Youth Center. Improvements will primarily include widened sidewalks and mid-block pedestrian crossings. As of November 21, 2025, this project is in the design phase. Construction is expected to begin in the Spring of 2026.
