Site work and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Hackensack, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

The work will include, but is not limited to, the construction of three (3) new synthetic baseball fields with underdrains, fencing, safety netting, sports lighting, bleachers, and dugouts. Additional site improvements will include drainage improvements, a new precast concrete press box, new site lighting fixtures, site landscape features, and utility connections within Foschini Park, located in the City of Hackensack. The work will also require the placement of RCA in order to surcharge existing soils for approximately four (4) months. This material will be delivered and supplied by others. The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this Project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 365 calendar days for completion of the work from the Notice to Proceed. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the City of Hackensack, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each Bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that they can obtain the required Performance Bond. The Successful Bidder will be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond and Payment Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bid submission info : The submitted Bid packages shall be complete with the Bid description and the name and address of the Bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. Bids must be placed in sealed envelopes and received by mail or hand delivered in person to the City Clerk's office located at 65 Central Avenue, 3rd Floor, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601. The envelope must also identify the Bid as "City of Hackensack Foschini Park Phase I Improvements". The City of Hackensack reserves the right to consider Bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. The right is reserved to waive any informalities, to accept Bids which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City to make an award on each item separately or as a whole and to accept any Bid or to reject any or all Proposals in accordance with the Specifications and the Bid forms. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
