MSD desires to establish an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program that will provide the knowledge and a framework to identify and evaluate emerging risks. MSD seeks proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide ERM consulting services. The ideal consultant maintains experience working with wastewater utilities. The candidate also demonstrates the ability to design and launch an ERM program, which combines risk management practices currently utilized while concurrently enhancing those practices. Currently, MSD's risk management awareness for many key areas focuses on identifying potential risks and implementing risk mitigation treatments through risk registers. The goal of implementing an enterprise-wide program consists of identifying risks and opportunities to improve the overall performance of MSD's critical success factors and to increase MSD's ability to reduce losses and increase our capacity to seize opportunities. The key objectives of the ERM program seek to promote a strong risk culture, align with organizational strategies, establish risk governance, safeguard reputation, and ensure legal compliance. It is the intent of MSD to contract with one Professional Services provider or team with a valid engineering license. This contract will terminate upon receipt of all deliverables described in this RFP.
