78th and Harrison Street Pump Station Comprehensive Engineering Review Evaluate, identify deficiencies and needed repairs, concerns, and provide improvement recommendations and estimated costs for the following: Civil / Exterior Pipes Driveway and parking area paving Site drainage Exterior vaults, valves, and valve actuators. This will include the actuated division valve in Harrison St. Exterior meter vault and meter Ralston Zone Pressure Reduction Valves Structural Pump Building structure Structural components supporting the pump building bridge crane Asbestos Evaluation the pump building for the presence of asbestos materials. Architectural Building Exterior, i.e. mortar joints and painted surfaces Holes and wall penetrations Roof Gutter and downspout Windows and louvers Entrance and overhead doors Plumbing Utility sinks and other plumbing fixtures Restroom fixtures, toilet, and stalls Mechanical Heaters and controls House air compressor Crane hoist and mechanical components Exhaust fans Pumps Pump performance - SCADA flow and pressure records suggest pumps #2 and #4 are performing below the original curves. What could explain this Motors / engines (condition and availability of replacement parts) Actuated discharge valves, manual isolation valves Instrumentation and Controls Improve local control user interface for manual operation at the station Water Quality instrumentation Suction, discharge, and flow transmitters and wiring Pump, motor, and engine monitoring Electrical Station transformer (condition and availability of replacement) Additional generation capacity for reliability and redundancy.
