Renovation of a residential development in Dunn, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
2nd Floor Bathroom renovations NC 79-1, McKay Court & Washington Heights 1. Remove existing vanity base cabinet, vanity top, faucet, supplies, supply stops, and trap. Provide new vanity top and base cabinet, faucet, braided stainless steel flexible supplies, trap, and 1/4 turn supply stops. Provide new PVC waste pipe to vertical waste. Patch Gyp. Bd. where piping was removed. 2. Existing water closet, supply, and supply stop to be removed and reinstalled. Remove and replace existing waste piping with new PVC piping and flange back to existing vertical waste piping (riser). Provide new wax ring and closet bolts. Thoroughly clean toilet upon reinstallation. 3. Remove existing tub, tub surround, and Gyp. Board backer at tub/shower wall. Remove existing faucet, spout, shower head, drain, and shower curtain rod. Remove waste piping back to vertical waste pipe. Provide new solid surface tub surround with trim kit, cement board with tape, and cement grout at seams, behind tub surround at tub/shower walls. Provide new tub/shower control set, spout, shower head supply 2ND Floor Bath Renovations at plus or minus 36 apartments. Ceiling repair at select apartments; typically in kitchen/dining areas below bathrooms on 2nd floor. Area of damage varies – see drawings. Provide all other work as described in the Scope of Work, shown on plans, in the Project Manual and as required by Codes and the Authority having jurisdiction. pipe, shower head, drain, and shower curtain rod 6'-6" A.F.F. Provide new PVC waste piping back to existing vertical waste pipe. Make connection between new PVC and existing waste pipe with PVC no hub coupling. 4. Remove existing ceramic tile floor, wall base, threshold, and plywood underlayment down to floor joists. Provide new 3/4 " T&G Advantech Subfloor, ice & water shield waterproofing membrane, new sheet vinyl flooring, and new painted wall base. Set new wall base in bed of sealant. 5. Existing medicine cabinet with mirror to remain. 6. Remove existing recessed single roll toilet tissue dispenser, and provide new recessed single roll toilet tissue dispenser at side wall of new vanity cabinet. 7. Existing towel bar to remain, clean. 8. Existing wall mounted light fixture to remain, clean. 9. Existing receptacle and cover plate to remain. Clean receptacle and cover plate. Protect during construction from damage. 10. Existing light switch and cover plate to remain. Clean light switch and cover plate. Protect during construction from damage. 11. Clean bathroom walls, ceiling, door/frame, and trim. Patch and sand walls, patch any holes in Gyp. Board at walls and ceiling. Paint entire bathroom; walls, ceiling and trim. Provide like new finish (Level 4) at all exposed drywall. 12. Refer to site plans for units with "CGR" ceiling repair notes: remove and replace 32 S.F. contiguous area of 5/8" Gyp. board ceiling. These areas are typically located in kitchen/dining area below bathrooms on 2 nd floor. Area of damage varies, refer to Unit Prices for repairs exceeding 32 S.F. per unit. Patch ceiling to blend seamlessly with existing ceiling. Paint entire 1 st floor ceiling as part of ceiling repair units. 13. All other work as shown on the plans, in the Project Manual, and as required by codes and the authority having jurisdiction.
