Renovation of a residential development in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

Chelmsford Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, Invites Sealed Bids From Prequalified Contractors for the Interior Renovation and Roof Replacement at State Aided Development: Mcfarlin Manor (667-3) in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The Project consists of but not limited to: Complete interior renovation of multi-story residential housing authority building, including replacement of windows and replacement of roof. The work is estimated to cost $16,000,000.00. A List of Prequalified General Bidders and Subbidders Will Be Included in the Bid Documents for This Project. Please Be Advised That General Bids and Subbids Will Only Be Accepted From Contractors Who Have Been Prequalified for This Project Pursuant to M.g.l. C. 149 44d 1/2 and 44d 3/4 . General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (shanyan.li@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. In addition to being prequalified for this project General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, General Building Construction, and for no less than the bid price plus any add alternates of this. Prequalified Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility.
