Renovation of a retail development in Asheboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development.

Scope of work will consist of renovations and modernization of existing project and includes Maintenance Shop 1. Completely renovate Two (2) existing restrooms. 2. Insulate with closed cell spray foam insulation on underside of roof deck complete throughout building. Approximately 4" to provided R Value of 26. 3. Add new mini-split ductless HVAC system to work room 107, storage rooms 108, 109 and garage area 111. 4. Renovate existing locker room space. Relocate lockers and remove existing single drinking fountain and provide new dual height drinking fountain. 5. Replace all existing interior and exterior lighting with new LED type fixtures. 6. Remove and replace all existing suspended ceiling panels and grid system. 7. Provide new suspended ceiling panels and grid system in work area 107 and storage rooms 108 and 109. 8. At existing shower 106, remove and replace shower controls and shower head. 9. At work room 107, remove existing wood framed platform and stud walls complete. 10. Provide new 4" diameter rigid metal duct vent pipe to exterior from clothes dryer. 11. At garage area 111, remove and replace existing overhead sectional door with new insulated painted metal overhead sectional door. 12. At garage area 111, remove and replace existing vehicle lift. 13. At work room 107, remove and replace existing utility service sink. 14. Except for storage rooms 108, 109, and 110, and garage area 111, repaint all interior walls. 15. All existing doors and frames, including window frames, to be repainted. 16. Remove existing concrete stoop in front of doors by garage area. Provide new 6" thick 4000 PSI concrete paving in front of garage area towards front of building. 17. All other work as shown on drawings, in Project Manual and as required by codes and the authority having jurisdiction. Cabinet Shop 18. Remove existing asphalt roof shingles complete, including underlayment felt. Inspect existing wood substrate for any damaged wood plywood. If found, remove damaged areas and replace with new plywood to match existing. Provide new synthetic underlayment, install new standing seam metal roof. 19. Remove existing windows and replace with new double hung vinyl windows. 20. Remove existing wood siding and inspect existing wall sheathing, replace any damaged areas with new plywood to match existing. Install new drainable weather barrier wrap and new engineered wood siding. 21. At back shed area; remove existing metal roof and siding complete. At roof, provide new 5/8" CDX plywood and cover with new synthetic underlayment, with new standing seam metal roof. At walls, provide new 1/2 " CDX plywood upon existing wall framing. Provide new engineered wood siding upon new weather barrier wrap. 22. Regrade area in front of doors at lower level to provide positive drainage away from building. 23. All other work as shown on drawings, in Project Manual and as required by codes and the authority having jurisdiction Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal or in lieu thereof a bidder may offer a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the bid executed by a surety A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, OR a 20% cash Escrow OR a 25% Letter of Credit. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of Sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
