The Columbia School District is seeking bids for Juniper Building Switches, replacing existing end of life QFX switches. with modern equivalent. Juniper brand is specified; no substitutions will be accepted and used or refurbished parts are not allowed. Prices must remain firm through December 31, 2025. The District is planning on purchasing Juniper switches for at least one building at this time and up to forty-five (45) depending on funding. If models change during the contract period, the vendor will supply the District the new model at the same price Successful bidder's performance will be closely monitored throughout the contract. If service becomes unsatisfactory, or other problems arise, the District reserves the right to cancel the contract for cause and may award to the next acceptable "low bidder," or cancel and request termination for cause due to a bidder's failure to perform as required. Questions regarding the bid specifications will be accepted until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2025 and should be directed to Lisa Ozanich at lozanich@cpsk12.org. Responses to questions will be sent via addendum, if necessary. Bidders are responsible for making their bid response as clear and understandable as possible. Bid responses should be submitted with prices on the provided bid form. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivery of the item/service, whether or not the bidder is the manufacturer or producer of it. Further, the Columbia Public School District will consider the selected bidder to be the sole point of contact with regard to the contractual matters, including delivery, warranty, and payment of any and all charges resulting from the purchase of the equipment.
