Site work for a water / sewer project in Elk Lick Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Elk Lick Township (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following project: Boynton Flood Control Levee Improvements. The Contracts include, but are not limited to, the following Work respectively: Relining of the existing corrugated metal pipes, replacement ofthe stone masonry headwalls with reinforced concrete headwalls, and the installation of a new flap gate on the outlet side of the pipes. The project is located in Boynton, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The project is being financed by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and local funds. The obligations imposed on the Owner by the financing agency(s) shall apply to and be acceptable to the successfill bidder(s). Bidders must comply with all State anti-bid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prior to the award of the contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond to the Owner, in the form contained in the Contract Documents and executed by a satisfactory circular 570 listed surety, each equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The bidder will also furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the contract documents. Bidders for this contract shall have completed projects similar in character and scope and will be required to provide with their bid a completed Statement of Bidders Qualifications and Equipment List in the forms prescribed in the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall adhere to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates as set forth in the Contract Documents. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Doc Notes: Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: The EADS Group, Inc., 450 Aberdeen Drive, Somerset, PA 15501. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents for each contract at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M by appointment only. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the Issuing Office to be eligible to bid. All Contracts are presented in a single set of Contract Drawings and a single Project Manual. Electronic versions of the Bidding Documents are available for the non-refundable fee of $26.50 (fee includes 6% Pennsylvania sales tax). To access the electronic version, the Bidder must have a valid email address and internet connection. Upon confirmation of payment, a website link and access credentials will be emailed to the Bidder to access the Bidding Documents Planholder's must purchase documents from the EADS Architects in order to be eligible to bid.
