The southington board of education is accepting proposals for: Architectural and engineering services for tennis courts replacement, Located at southington high school. The Town of Southington is soliciting proposals to retain a qualified Architectural/Engineering Firm (herein after referred to as firm, proposer, responder, architect) to provide design services for renovations to the Tennis Courts at Southington High School, 720 Pleasant St., Southington, CT 06489. Proposed renovations for the courts include demolition and replacement of the existing seven courts, fence & gate(s), and retaining wall in a way that meets or exceeds USTA expectations and tolerances. The goal of this project is to receive order of magnitude cost of the requested concept designs in which the Town will seek funding options. Once a firm has been awarded, a deadline for the end of February 2025 is requested for the conceptual designs and cost estimates. The Town will seek funding options in March 2025. This RFP is not a contract offer, and no contract will exist unless and until a written contract is signed by the Town and the successful proposer. Interested parties should submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements and directions contained in this RFP. The Town may choose not to select any firm.
