Site work for a water / sewer project in Charlotte, North Carolina. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Barrington Storm Drainage Improvement Project will replace aging infrastructure. Located within a drainage area of approximately 42 acres, the project will provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Somersworth Drive to the north, The Plaza to the south, Craftsbury Drive to the west and McBride Street to the east. As of December 1, 2025, this project is in the City of Charlotte's Budget FY 2026 CIP. It is currently in the design phase. Bidding is expected to take place in February of 2027 with construction to follow in 8-9 months.
