This project is to furnish supervision, labor, equipment, and material necessary to install auto flushing units at dedicated reverse osmosis sink locations in the SPS department at the James J. Peters VAMC 130 Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468. Magnitude of Construction: Between $25,000 and $100,000 NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Size Standard: $45.0 million Completion Time: 60 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside procurement. All prospective bidders must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov), and are verified/visible/certified with the SBA at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement. Site Visit - A site visit will be available for interested parties to tour the area on January 2, 2025 at 11:00am EST Interested parties are to meet at the VA James J. Peters VAMC, Building 100, GC-106 Engineering. The hospital address is 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468. This will be the ONLY site visit date for the project, no others will be scheduled. Please Include a cost breakdown of your firm's proposal. Evaluation will be determined in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(a)(2). The Government shall award this procurement on the basis of technical capability, price and past performance. Please provide a maximum 5-page capability statement that indicates the vendor has the trained personnel and experience with the same or similar work. The Government reserves the right to make award without discussions. NOTE: CONTRACTORS MUST ACKNOWLEDGE ALL SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS. Refer to solicitation for full description of requirement. Limitations on Subcontracting and Buy American certificate requirement attached. Due Date: Proposals are due no later than Thursday, January 9, 2024 at 10:00am EST. James J Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx, NY is seeking a contractor to furnish supervision, labor, equipment, and material necessary to install programable auto-flushing units and associated connections at dedicated sink locations. 4 total auto flushing units to control 6 sinks.4 sinks are back-to-back on a shared plumbing wall. All work shall be completed in accordance published applicable local/state/federal codes and regulations. Including follow OSHA standards 1910.141 and NYC regulations 28-101.1. and IPC 2021. Contractor is required to visit site. Contractor shall provide all equipment, material, and labor required to perform the following. a. Contractor shall construct Infection prevention barriers and take other associated precautions related to working in a sterile environment, for each sink location. b. Contractor shall install auto-flushing units in 4 locations that control 6 different sinks. c. Contractor shall install/complete all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical connections associated with the project, in compliance with manufactures recommendations. Repairs not included withing this scope that shall incur an additional cost to the VA shall not be performed unless a modification is provided by the Contracting Officer (CO).
