Reference Number 0000371626 The current construction cost for Early Construction Pipeline Package 1 is estimated at approximately $7 million. Construction is expected to begin in 2025 for the first Early Construction Pipeline Package Qualification information is being requested from interested contractors to enable the NISP Enterprise to evaluate qualifications of Contractors prior to the submittal of bids on the project(s). Information regarding company experience, references, work history, financial standing, and safety record is requested. NISP plans to construct one or more Early Construction Pipeline Package(s) from 2025 - 2027. The Northern Integrated Supply Project (NISP) will supply 15 Northern Front Range water providers (Participants) with 40,000 acre-feet of new, reliable water supplies annually. Northern Water is pursuing permitting, design and construction of the project on behalf of the Participants. The project components are within Larimer County and Weld County, Colorado and include multiple off-channel reservoirs, canal improvements, relocation of Highway 287, and multiple pipeline packages and pump stations to deliver water to Participants and for exchanges. NISP has acquired the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) permitting for a Clean Water Act Section 404 permit to build NISP. A Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was issued by the Corps in July 2018 and a Record of Decision was issued in January 2023. The NISP Delivery System includes large diameter steel pipelines that will be constructed in multiple separate packages, each conveying raw water. The pipelines will generally be AWWA C200 welded steel with polyurethane coating and cement mortar lining. The scope of work for the first Early Construction Pipeline Package 1 consists of the construction of approximately 8,000 feet of 48-inch diameter steel pipe. The pipeline will be constructed in Johnstown and Weld County, CO from south of County Road 50 to County Road 46 along Colorado Boulevard. The Project will also include: 1.Installation of 48-inch welded steel pipe and all associated appurtenances including air and vacuum relief valve assemblies, blowoff assemblies, and a cathodic protection system. 2. Trenchless road and railroad crossings. 3. All site preparation and erosion control, dewatering, traffic control, asphalt road restoration, driveway restoration, revegetation, and restoration of all existing facilities and surface improvements to pre-construction conditions. 4. Surveying and staking, final grading, reclamation, and cleanup.
