It is the intention of Jackson County to competitively award to a qualified company that has demonstrated their ability for comparable work. The completion date for all work shall be October 24, 2025 The work will consist of HMA surfacing on 14.14 miles of various roads throughout Jackson County, Michigan as specified in this proposal and on the attached map. The Jackson County Department of Transportation reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make the award in the best interest of the Jackson County Department of Transportation and Jackson County. Treatments for each road are subject to change, and JCDOT may add or remove roads based on a multitude of factors including contractor availability, weather, and any sudden issues that arise during construction.
