Site work and renovation of a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is located at 14503 Braden Drive East and 13503 Furman Road in Houston, Texas 77047. Major items of work in the project include rehabilitation of the interior and exterior of a 250,000-gallon GST, spot repairs of corrosion on yard piping and hydro pneumatic tanks, construction of a concrete lined drainage swale, and modifications to the CMU booster pump building. Modifications to the booster pump piping penetrations in a CMU wall. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The major components of Work for this project include the following items: 1. Abrasive blasting and recoating of the interior of a 250,000-gallon GST; 2. Abrasive blasting and recoating of the exterior of a 250,000-gallon GST; 3. Spot repair and recoating areas of corrosion on piping, generator enclosure, and HPTs; 4. Construction of a concrete-lined swale; 5. Modifications to the booster pump building to allow independent movement of the building and booster pump piping; and 6. Replacement of corroded valves on HPT air piping. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or minor defects in bidding and accept any bid deemed advantageous to the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days following the bid opening. All bids received after the date and time of the bid opening as described above will be rejected and returned to the Bidder unopened. The successful Bidder will be required to provide bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All bids must be submitted with a Bid Bond, signed by the surety and the Bidder, a Cashier's Check or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid.
