Site work for a water / sewer project in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The small-sized project consists of removal and abandonment of existing 2" to 8" (max) waterlines and the installation of new 2" to 8" (max) waterlines. Based on discussions with CCW staff, the small-sized program is typically executed in a more planned, intentional manner mostly in residential rights-of-way and small utility easements. Specific scopes of work are defined in individual Delivery Orders issued under this IDIQ contract. Each Delivery order will provide a specific scope for waterline repair or replacement, identify start and end points of the project and address any Right-of-Way (ROW) needs, access requirements, environmental and stormwater management requirements, traffic control needs, and any other specific items required for the defined scope of work. In general, projects are anticipated to require less than an acre of disturbance and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Notice of Intent (NOI), and Notice of Termination (NOT) will generally not be necessary. Implementation of sediment and erosion controls will be standard for work under the IDIQ. Proper and regulatory compliant removal and disposal of Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP) is provided for in the IDIQ contract along with removal and disposal of other waterline materials. New materials installed will be ductile iron, PVC, or fusible PVC pipe along with ductile iron fittings and steel valves meeting the provisions of current City codes, standards, and guidelines. Details will be provided in the individual Delivery Orders.Specific scopes of work are defined in individual Delivery Orders issued under this IDIQ contract.
