The Project includes the following Work: 1. Demolition of one (1) belt filter press and associated polymer dosing assembly. 2. Relocation of remaining belt filter press. 3. Installation of screw press, polymer dosing assembly, sludge pump, flocculation tank, control panels and ancillary equipment as required. 4. All other miscellaneous requirements necessary for the installation of complete and operable systems. The Project has an expected duration as follows: Base Bid: Project duration of three-hundred and sixty (360) Calendar Days 61500 E 284 Rd., Grove, OK 74344 Goals for MBE CONSTRUCTION 13.94%; SUPPLIES - 7.48%; SERVICES - 14.29%; EQUIPMENT - 9.13% Goals for WBE CONSTRUCTION - 6.92%; SUPPLIES - 0; SERVICES - 26.51%; EQUIPMENT - 19.90% SCOPE OF WORK A. This Section describes the project in general and provides an overview of the extent of the Work to be performed. Detailed requirements and extent of Work are stated in the applicable Specification Sections and shown within the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall, except as otherwise specifically stated herein or in any applicable parts of these Contract Documents, provide and pay for all labor, materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment and other facilities and services necessary for proper execution, testing, successful start-up, and completion of the Work. B. The Work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary to provide a functioning system and for the completion of the Work shall be provided by the Contractor at no increase of cost to the Owner. Any part or item of the Work which is reasonably implied or normally required to make each installation satisfactorily and completely operable shall be performed by the Contractor and the expense thereof shall be included in the bid price. It is the intent of these Specifications to provide the Owner with complete operable systems. All miscellaneous appurtenances and other items or work that are incidental in meeting the intent of these Specifications shall be considered as having been included in the bid price, even though these items may not be specifically called for in the Specifications. C. The Work covered by these Contract Documents comprises the construction of the screw press dewatering system. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1.
