** As of February 06, 2025, project was awarded to KE&G Construction, Inc., awarded amount is $632,302.50. ** The Town of Patagonia has been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State of Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) and will accept sealed bids from licensed Arizona Contractors to complete the following improvements to the Town of Patagonia 's water system: Replacement of the water main along Rothrock Alley, Patagonia AZ 85624-0767. These improvements will include replacing the existing 4" asbestos cement pipe along Rothrock Alley with new 6" VC C900 pipe from 4th Ave. to about 350-ft past 3rd Ave., on the western side of Sonoita Creek. Removal and replacement of 33 existing service connections and the installation of 4 new service connections with meter boxes. The new water main will include mechanically restrained joints for protection against displacement and 37 "smart meter" water service connections installed along the length of new main water line. Replacement of the water main and service laterals will require removal of the 2" paved surface. The scope of work therefore includes street reconstruction with a 2" asphalt-concrete surface. As part of the street reconstruction, manholes and valve boxes will be adjusted with fitted concrete rings. Deadline for Questions Monday, January 20th, 2025 3:00 p.m.
