Demolition and site work for a residential development in Walker, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The parcel of property contains 2 separate dilapidated single-family dwellings (single wide trailers), 1 small camper, and 3 storage building/structures. The main work of the project is to remove both single wide trailers that are dilapidated and burnt throughout. The trailers have fire damage, debris, trash, junk, and items throughout. The trailer in the back has an addition built onto it and attached porch/deck that will need to be demolished as well. All debris, junk, and trash will need to be removed. The small camper and 3 storage buildings/sheds are not to be touched. Owner is living in camper and still using the other 3 storage structures. Owner requests block foundation of the back trailer to be left and not demolished so they can build on and reuse the foundation block in the future. The County Commission of Wood County will be accepting sealed bids for the demolition and removal of 2 structures - two single wide trailers; trash, burnt structural remains, and debris within for a property located at 512 Montgomery Hill Road, Walker, WV 26180. The County Commission reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
