Stadium Upgrades at Carteret High School for the Carteret Board of Education Project No: R2024.0098.00 (a.k.a. 2024-098) SCOPE OF WORK The intended scope of work includes, but is not limited to: The expansion and upgrades of existing outdoor public toilet rooms; ADA improvements related to the removal and replacement of existing guardrail/handrail systems, and the providing of new aluminum ramping / stair / guardrail / handrail systems and their related concrete foundations and anchoring points; Fixed seating improvements related to the providing of a limited area of riser mounted grandstand seating system w/ chair backs, as well as an alternate bid for the installation of direct applied seat toppers system at "band seating" area only; Lighting removal, replacement and upgrades under the existing stadium roof canopy, and within the existing locker rooms and toilet rooms with new LED lighting: Exterior painting upgrades related to the removal and repainting of all existing painted/ coated surfaces; Masonry restoration including, but not limited to, parging/stucco repair, masonry crack repair, masonry unit repair, masonry unit replacement, and concrete repair; The removal, relocation and rebuilding of the existing wood framed press booth access enclosure and roof access hatch and ladder; Installation of "bird proofing" systems to the underside of the entire stadium roof canopy; Finishes upgrades to both existing locker rooms below the existing grandstand seating to include the removal and replacement of existing flooring, wall finishes, ceiling finishes, as well as an alternate bid to remove and replace existing athletic lockers and millwork as indicated in the documents. The project is located at Carteret High School (199 Washington Avenue, NJ) and is approximately five minutes by vehicle from Exit 12 off Interstate 95 (NJ Turnpike).
