Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Marlinton, West Virginia. Working plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work is to provide construction services for furnishing and installing a two-span box beam bridge system on FR 135 as part of the Tea Creek Campground Bridge Replacement. The scope includes construction survey and staking, erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, installation of cofferdams and site dewatering, excavation for riprap placement, removal of the existing structure, installation of the new bridge structure, micropile design and installation, roadway subbase and aggregate, asphalt cement, guardrail, and riprap armoring. Additional activities include turbidity monitoring, in-channel perimeter control, fish relocation and removal, candy darter monitoring and capturing, and stream rehabilitation. Location: Pocahontas County, West Virginia, United States. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
