The project includes exterior finish carpentry on buildings at the Flying M Ranch, Walker River State Recreation Area. Carpentry work includes the replacement of portions of the tongue and groove siding (6" or 8") and/or replacement of trim along with caulking and application of sealing primer, repair and fill of damaged siding, replacement of skirting around the base of modular buildings, and other repairs as noted. The project also includes the repainting of the structures per the specifications. Prospective bidders shall at the time of bid opening, possess a valid contractor's license, appropriate based on the project scope, issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board, registered and in good standing with the Nevada Secretary of State. Subcontractors shall hold the appropriate license(s) for their portion of the work listed. Prospective bidders shall also provide verifiable documentation and references of at least three similar projects completed successfully. All work must be completed within SIXTY (60) calendar days after the date of commencement as stated in the Notice to Proceed and prior to April 30, 2025. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total bid price payable to the Nevada Division of State Parks as a guarantee that the bidder, if his proposal is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, secure the necessary insurance, furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price, and furnish a labor and material bond in the amount of 100 percent of the bid price.
