Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,300-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for the addition of a 24,500-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Renovation and addition to existing middle school. - 24,500 SF Addition - 6,300 SF of Renovation Rebid of select bid packages as follows: - #5A - Steel Fabrication - #7C - Expansion Joints and Covers - #8C - Overhead Doors - #9D - Acoustic Finish - #32C - Fencing Bidders will be required to provide bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or other statutory permissible security in the amount of (5) percent of the bid amount if the bid is $50,000.00 or greater. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided in the Project Manual. Your bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of forty-five (45) days after submission. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and accept or reject any or all bids. Bid Package 6A - Millwork a. FSC Certification is not required for this project. b. Accredited participant in the specified certification program prior to the commencement of fabrication and throughout the duration of the project is not required. 2. Bid Package 7A - Roofing a. Existing built-up roof scope of work: i. Remove the existing built-up roof system down to existing deck. Provide new insultation, coverboard and built-up roof system. ii. It has been determined that the roof replacement effort must comply with IECC 2009 requirements. iii. Provide a minimum R-value of R20 and a 5/8" cover board. iv. The profile would be similar to profile RA/C1, but a built-up system in place of the mod-bit. General roofing profile components: Built-up bituminous roof systems, 5/8" cover board and polyisocyanurate (ISO) board Insulation with R20 minimum. v. Include all required roofing blocking, flashing and roof expansion joints to accommodate new roof profile. vi. Built-up Roof system is to have a 20-year warranty.
