The Project consists of constructing a new influent pump station, new ultraviolet disinfection system, modifications to the existing lagoon basin, modifications to the existing operations building, new standby generators, and a biosolids dewatering system. The allotted time for construction is 485 calendar days. This project includes American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding and is subject to Domestic Preference for Procurements for all iron, aluminum, steel, cement, and other manufactured products used in this project to the extent consistent with law. The Bidder, to the greatest extent practicable, shall provide a preference for the purchase, acquisition, or use of goods, products, or materials produced in the United States. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 120 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act.
