Add a vocal room at the end of the C-Wing and renovate the existing music classrooms, including relocating band practice space and creating more sound and instructional spaces. Renovate the weight room, upscale equipment, and add a team room for athlete gear storage. Begin Phase One upgrades for Gander Garden area, installing underground infrastructure for a future pavilion with bathrooms. Renovate two existing classrooms into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Labs to support modern curriculum needs for today’s learners. Renovate the current E-Sports Club’s classroom space to accommodate the growing student interest, which will also expand capacity for the Club to become a competitive team. Replace outdated casework (bookshelves, cubicles, tables, chairs, etc.) with new ADA-compliant pieces. Replace vinyl sheet flooring outside 600-Wing bathrooms and other areas in need. Upgrade interior fluorescent lighting to brighter, energy-efficient LED lighting. Replace cracked concrete slab and uneven flooring outside of the band room corridor. Replace aging, end-of-life classroom Unit Ventilators. As of January 2, 2025, this project is in the pre-construction phase. The capital project has been approved.
