Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Kerhonkson, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project work includes: Renovate the main office area to create a secure entryway with a transaction window, access-control, and emergency button. Enhancing existing playground spaces, including drainage and grading. Upgrade outdoor play area, including new blacktop for added basketball court and playing field with drainage. Replace cracked and deteriorating brick joints on the north wall and parapets. Renovate elevator cab and controls for ADA compliance. Replace aging and deteriorated wood ramp with a new concrete ramp and handrails. Replace end-of-life classroom Unit Ventilators. Renovate outdated first and second floor bathrooms. Replace outdated, inefficient classroom windows from the 1990s in the 2-3 wing. As of January 2, 2025, this project is in the pre-construction phase. The capital project has been approved.
