**As of April 25, 2025, project was awarded to Tim Lanier Construction LLC, awarded amount to is $450,000.50.** The project includes the roadway improvements along Anderson Street from East Main Street to Hill Street. This project will consist of roadway improvements along Anderson Street from E. Main Street to Hill Street. This work will improve the road by adding asphalt pavement to a width of 20 feet. The roads drainage will be improved by the installation of a new storm pipe network All work to be performed under this project must be substantially complete within 120 consecutive calendar days, to include days required to address punch list items for final acceptance for a total of 120 consecutive calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The City of Statesboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom the Owner believes would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder.
