Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chesterfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of the removal and reconstruction of approximately 27,140 square yards of concrete pavement, property restoration and other necessary appurtenances. The awarded Contractor shall have 120 days from the date of Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on a public works project shall provide a ten (10) hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check, or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company and payable to the City, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum total of the base bid.
