The Board of Trustees of the Grady ISD is requesting proposals for CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK (CMAR) services to assist the District with construction and renovation of school facilities including, without limitation, security improvements, including fencing, lighting, canopy cover and signage; water quality and storage upgrades; playground expansion; new bus barn/covered bus storage; new school storage; Wildcat gymnasium improvements; new athletic facility restrooms; and, a new residence for teacher housing. The District Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals and to Waive Irregularities or Informalities as District May Deem in Its Best Interest. Waiver of Claims: by Tendering a Proposal to the District's RFP, the CMAR Acknowledges That the CMAR Has Read and Fully Understands the Requirements for Submitting a Proposal, and the Process Used by the District for Selecting a CMAR . CMAR agrees that it is liable to the Owner for all damage sustained to Owner's facilities for CMAR's failure to properly secure the Work and protect Owner's facilities from theft, weather, fire or other hazard. Further, by Submitting a Proposal and in Exchange for Being Considered for This Project, the CMAR Freely, Voluntarily and Understandingly Waives and Releases Any and All Claims Against District, and Any of Its Trustees, Officers, Agents and/or Employees That Could Arise Out of the Administration, Evaluation, Recommendation or Selection of Any Proposal Submitted in Response to The District's RFP.
