The purpose of this Request for Proposals ("RFP") is to obtain the services of a qualified consultant or firm, hereinafter referred to as "Consultant," to perform a service for the City of Columbus, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the "City." The City is seeking qualifications and proposals from consultants interested in assisting the City in producing the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) mandated Analysis of Impediments (AI) to Fair Housing Choice/Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Equity Plan, hereinafter referred to collectively as the "AI." The AI shall be conducted in accordance with the necessary requirements and guidelines under the Federal regulations. The AI will be used to evaluate, monitor, address, and resolve Fair Housing issues in the city of Columbus. The analysis will follow HUD's AFFH Interim Final Rule. The Consultant will change course if HUD adopts the Proposed AFFH Rule. Specification Questions: Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted on the Bonfire portal by December 27, 2024. Responses will be posted as asked, no later than January 3, 2025. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
