Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid in a manner required by the Instructions to Bidders. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days. The County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, to reject all Bids, or to re-advertise for Bids. The scope of work for this project consists of, but not limited to: • Replacing the elastomeric bearing pad assembly under the guideway steel beams, concrete deck and substructural spall and delamination repairs, concrete deck crack repair, and expansion joints repair/replacement. • Jacking of the structures for bearing replacement and related work to gain access to existing structures. • Adjustment, repair, or replacement of equipment and utilities on the existing bridge or building structures in order to perform the bridge rehabilitation work. • Major safety tasks for a large welding impact zone around the fueling station. • Monitoring, inspecting, testing, and startup & commissioning. • Allowance for known but undefined structural scope and jacking support systems that must be verified in the field. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise – Construction participation goal for this project is: 20.12%
