The Bidder declares that he has examined the site of the Work and informed himself fully in regard to all conditions pertaining to the place where the Work is to be done; that he has examined the Drawings, Specification and Contract Documents for the Work, and has read all special provisions furnished prior to the opening of bids; and that he has further satisfied himself relative to the Work to be performed. The Bidder further declares that he understands that unit quantities for Water Utilities are approximately only, are subject to increase or decrease, and that, should the quantities of any of the items be decreased, the Bidder will make no claim for the anticipated profits. In addition, the Owner also reserves the right to adjust quantities, either by addition or deletion and as -BID unit price shall remain in effect for these quantity adjustments. C. General This section specifies procedural requirements for non -administrative submittals including shop drawings, product data, samples (when samples are specifically requested) and other miscellaneous work -related submittals. Shop drawings, product data, samples and other work -related submittals are required to amplify, expand and coordinate the information contained in the Contract Documents. All submittals shall be submitted in electronic format through the Engineer's submittal process and shall be checked and reviewed by the Contractor before submission to the Engineer. The review of the submittals by the Engineer shall not be construed as a complete check but will indicate only that the general method of construction and detailing is satisfactory. General: Required inspection and testing services are intended to assist in the determination of probable compliance of the work with requirements specified or indicated.
