Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
**As of March 12, 2025, the project was awarded to C3 Constructors but the awarded amount is not available.** Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: Construction and Expansion of a Wastewater Treatment Plant a. Under this Contract, Contractor shall furnish all materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and all labor and superintendence necessary for the construction of the Work as described in these Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. The completed installation shall not lack any part that can be reasonably implied as necessary to its proper functioning or any subsidiary item that is customarily furnished, and Contractor shall deliver the installation to Owner in operating condition. b. The Work, in general, under this Contract includes the purchase, installation, and construction of all structures, equipment, and materials, including appurtenances, as indicated on the Plans. Major items of construction and services required are designated as follows: (1) Provide and install a Digester tank (2) Provide and install Air Blowers (3) Convert existing Digester tanks to Aeration tanks (4) Place Foundation Pads (5) Piping (6) Provide and install Electrical equipment Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant to Serve Phase Iii Expansion (0.2 Mgd to 0.30 Mgd). The deadline to ask questions is 1/28/2025 2:00 PM CST Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: Construction and Expansion of a Wastewater Treatment Plant Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashier's check within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and the bidder agrees that the Contract Documents can be terminated if the bidder knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
