Installation of various SCADA components, replacement of various PLCs, and SCADA programming to eb performed by Baird, Gilroy, & Dixon, LLC (Contractor will be reimbursed for the actual cost of programming). Estimate: $535,000 All bids must be submitted with a Bid Bond, signed by the surety and the Bidder, a Cashier's Check or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or minor defects in bidding and accept any bid deemed advantageous to the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days following the bid opening. All bids received after the date and time of the bid opening as described above will be rejected and returned to the Bidder unopened. The successful Bidder will be required to provide bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908 and the rules promulgated thereunder by the Texas Ethics Commission (TEC), the Owner may not formally accept a bid until it has received a completed TEC Form 1295 complete with notarized signature and a Certificate of Filing number assigned by the TEC.
