The project site is located at 2445 NY-30, Tupper Lake, Franklin County, New York. The intent of the limited asbestos survey was to identify suspect ACM that are located within the subject basements and may be impacted during proposed renovation projects. The limited asbestos survey was conducted for the subject areas, as directed by Christopher Aldrich, representing DASNY. The subject areas were not occupied but were operational at the time of the sampling event. In the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder made payable to the Dormitory Authority or by a bid bond prepared on the form of bid bond included in the Contract Documents, duly executed by the bidder as principal, and the surety thereon. Simultaneously with the delivery of the signed Agreement, the successful bidder shall furnish to the Owner and maintain, at its own cost and expense a Performance Bond in an amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount as security for faithful performance of the Contract and also a Payment Bond in an amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount for the payment of all persons performing labor under the Contract or furnishing materials for the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the requested items are not submitted as required or if the bidder fails to demonstrate to the Owner's satisfaction that the bidder is responsible or qualified to carry out the obligations of the Contract or to complete the Work as contemplated.
