Demolition and renovation of a mixed-use development in Montville, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As security, each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashiers Check drawn upon either a State Bank and Trust Company or a National Banking Association, to the order of Montville Public Schools, or the Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond having as surety thereto, such Surety Company or Companies as are authorized to do business in the State of Connecticut, of an amount not less than 5% of the Bid. The successful Bidder shall furnish Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Sum. After opening of the Bids, no Bid can be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including set aside (25% SBE and 6.25% M/W/DisBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO. The Bidder must submit with the bid package a copy of the appropriate Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) prequalification in their classification. DAS prequalification for General Building Construction Group B is required. Montville Public Schools does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, physical disability, religion or national origin.
