2025 LMIG Road Resurfacing A contract will be awarded at a regular scheduled Wayne County Commission meeting in County Administrator's Office. All work shall be done in accordance with the latest revision of Georgia Department Transportation's Standard Specifications. Contractor must be approved as a GADOT contractor. The work under this contract will consist of the following: Furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals to: Resurface and re-stripe approximately 6.16 miles of county roads and Perform full depth reclamation on approximately 0.21 mile of county roads. Contractor must be approved as a GADOT contractor. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder must be able to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. A statement from the bidder's bonding company shall accompany the bid bond stating that the bidder can submit a Payment and Performance Bond, in accordance with the contract documents, within ten days of award of contract. The low bidder must furnish proof that they are a Georgia Department of Transportation Certified Contractor before a contract will be executed. The Wayne County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner.
