Biosolids Handling Facility (BHF) Aeration Optimization and Blower Replacement. TIMELIINE: Request for Proposal to engage an engineering firm to assess the current operation of the facility with a focus on upgrades to the existing aeration systems, has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen The blowers and associated aeration system for the BHF is original to the facility, built in 1996, and have reached the end of their service life, prompting this review. The prospective consultant is to also provide Class D cost estimates for the proposed designs, projected cost savings for the lifespan of recommendations, and provide a GHG emission reduction statement. Further update once the project is approved to bid for construction. *Cost to be determined.
