sealed bids will be received by the Dover Union Free School District (the Owner), for the Dover Middle / High School Revitalization Capital Improvement Project. Contract(s) Being Bid Separate bids, which will comply with the Bidding Documents, will be received for the following Scopes of Work: Dover Middle / High School Revitalization Mechanical Construction Contract The Board of Education of the Dover Union Free School District invites the submission of separate sealed bid proposals for the Dover Middle/High School Revitalization Capital Improvement Project. Work shall consist of: Heating, cooling and ventilation (mechanical) work as identified within the project documents. Contract No. 24-002C: Electrical, lighting and fire alarm modification and improvement work as identified within the project documents. Time is of the Essence: Each contract shall be completed by the following dates: Contracts 24-002A, 24-002B, 24-002C, 24-002D: by December 12th, 2025. Bidders will be furnished a full and complete copy of the plans and specifications by the Assistant Superintendent for Business Affairs at the Dover Middle / High School, 2368 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY 12522, upon proper presentation of: 1. The name and mailing address, telephone and fax numbers of the interested party making such request; and 2. Pre-paid Fed Ex, UPS, or alternate Shipping/Mailing account information for the costs of receiving initial Bid Documents and any subsequent addenda. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be issued. Manner of Bids Submitted: Bids shall be made on standard proposal forms furnished in the bid documents in the manner designated there, and required by the specifications, shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes, clearly marked on the outside with the following information: 1. Bid Proposal for Dover Middle / High School Building Revitalization Improvements, Contract No. _____. 2. The Name of the Owner; 3. The name and address of the bidder; The Contract Number(s) and Branch(es) of Work, as identified above for which the Bid is submitted, must be accompanied by the following in duplicate: (one original/one copy). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening except with the express written approval of the Owner. Owner's Disclaimer/Owner's Discretion to Accept or Reject Bids: The Owner assumes no responsibility, whatsoever, in connection with any defects arising out of the Bidding Documents or the receipt or failure to receive Bids, including those which may arise form delay for any reason, in obtaining or submitting the Bidding Documents, including but not limited to, traffic delay, messengering, mis-labeling, mis-directions from any source, mis-delivery, or otherwise. Any Bid, which does not fulfill the material requirements of the Bidding Documents will be rejected. When it is in its best interest to do so, the Owner may award the Contract in whole or in part, select any combination of Bids, or may waive any informalities in or reject any or all Bids.
