Site work for a water / sewer project in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A. Section Includes: Description of Work/construction delivered under this Contract. B. The Work performed is entitled South Knox Mini-Basin 40F3 Water and Wastewater Upgrades, Control Number 3755 C. Description of Work: The work includes rehabilitation and replacement of water and wastewater utilities in KUB Mini-Basin 40F3. Work elements are listed in further detail below. The Work shall be completed in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as required to restore the Site to a condition equal to or better than the Site condition which existed prior to initiation of the Work activities. 1. Installation of 5,600 ft of 12-in waterline, 12,200 ft of 8-in waterline, 160 ft of 6-in waterline, and 580 ft of 2-in waterline. 2. Installation of 110 ft of 12-in waterline in 24" steel casing using auger bore method. 3. Installation of two (2) pressure relief valves and two (2) magnetic flow meters. 4. Rehabilitation of 10,050 ft of gravity sewer via cured-in-place lining. 5. Rehabilitation of 1,800 ft of gravity sewer via pipe bursting. 6. Replacement of 2,075 ft of gravity sewer via open cut. 7. Related work as detailed in the drawings and specifications. Required substantial completion of 640 days within the commence date stated in the Notice to Proceed letter.
