The Bidder shall furnish all labor and material to remove and replace approximately 243 linear feet of existing 18-inch diameter sanitary sewer with proposed 24-inch sanitary sewer, and replace two manholes, as shown in the contract documents. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner, in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions and as may be modified by the Supplementary Conditions. The amount of a cashier's check or certified check must be at least TEN percent (10%) of the Bidder's maximum bid price (in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Chapter 1305). No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after being publicly opened and read. All Bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Carriers must be authorized to do business in the State of Ohio.
