PROJECT SUMMARY: This Project consists of Playground Improvements at Maplewood Park located at 107 Bridge View Drive, Rochester, NY 14615. The scope of the work consists of the installation of a new timber playground, resilient surfacing, associated drainage system, concrete mow strip, concrete bench pads and new site furniture (i.e. benches and trash receptacle). The site demolition will be included as part of the on-going Maplewood Nature Center project. Work will include earthwork to accommodate the proposed improvements, concrete footings for timber playground installation and erosion and sediment control measures. Three alternates are proposed and include a swing area, berm grading and tree plantings. REQUIREMENTS: This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Program and waiver requirements; MWBE goals and waiver requirements; and Workforce Goals Requirements. This project includes Federal Community Development Block Grant funds and certain Federal requirements apply.
