The Dracut Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Roofing Contractors for the Shingle Roof Replacement & Related Work at the 65 Phineas Street Housing Development for the Dracut Housing Authority in Dracut, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Raymond T. Guertin, Architect. The Project consists of: Shingle Roof Replacement at four (4) residential buildings (Buildings A1, A2, B1 & B2) including all related work as shown on the Drawings and in the Project Manual at the Phineas Street Housing Development. Alternate No.1: Shingle Roof Replacement at one additional residential building (Building A3), including all related work as shown on the Drawings and in the Project Manual at the Phineas Street Housing Development. The work is estimated to cost $171,600.00. (Base Bid - $126,200.00 Alternate - $45,400.00) Bids are subject to Federal Davis Bacon wage rates. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of Roofing. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Dracut Housing Authority. General bidders mllst agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (500), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% ofthe final contract price.
