Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Daphne, Alabama. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Work will consist of a new Courtroom addition and interior renovations to the existing Courthouse Facility. The work will include associated site work and landscaping for this project. All Bids must be on blank forms provided in the Specifications and submitted in its entirety. A Bid Bond executed and signed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make bonds in the State of Alabama or a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank, payable to City of Daphne, Alabama, for an amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, but in no event more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), shall be filed with the Bid. Three Hundred Sixty-Five (365) calendar days will be allowed for the completion of the Project. A performance bond in the form and terms approved by the City in an amount not less than the contract price will be required at the signing of the Agreement. A labor and materials bond in the form and terms approved by the City in an amount not less than the Contract Price insuring payment for all labor and materials shall also be required at the signing of the Agreement. In addition, the Contractor must furnish to the City at the time of the signing of the Agreement a certificate of insurance coverage as provided in the Contract Documents. If the Contract is to be awarded, the City will award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of Bids without the consent of the City Council of City of Daphne, Alabama. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids and to waive informalities and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of the Contract Price.
