This project will include approximately 1,600 feet of full street reconstruction and associated tapers on McGilchrist Street SE and approximately 800 feet of full street reconstruction and associated tapers on 25th Street SE. The project includes reconstruction of the existing signal at the intersection of McGilchrist Street SE and 25th Street SE, bike and pedestrian facilities, street lighting, stormwater improvements, waterline upgrades, and other appurtenant work. PRE-BID CONFERENCE: No pre-Bid Conference is schedule for this project. BID SECURITY: Bid security in the amount of 10-percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Salem ("City") reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days.
