Boyd County Fiscal Court is requesting proposals for bridge and embankment repairs. This project consists of bridge decking and expansion joint repair, under bridge sediment removal, and polybag installation. Boyd County Fiscal Court is seeking proposals for bridge repair services to include the stabilization of the embankment through the installation of poly bags and structural fill. Work performed will comply with all federal and state requirements and guidelines including FEMA PA Program and Policy Guide FP 104-009-02. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid or $20,000.00 whichever is greater is required (mandatory) upon submission of proposal. A company check is acceptable (cashier's check is not required). A performance bond, in the form of a cashier's check, on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price will be required prior to work starting.
