Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the removal and replacement of the waste and vent piping system serving the kitchen area. All piping, drains, and plumbing fixtures in the kitchen and surrounding areas shall be removed and replaced. Ceilings, floors, and walls will be removed and replaced to accommodate the piping replacement. Light fixtures and receptacles will be removed and replaced. Electrical circuits routed below the floor will be removed and routed above the lay-in ceilings. A new concrete slab and epoxy non-slip floor shall be provided in the renovation space. All existing kitchen equipment shall be removed, stored, and re-installed to accommodate the renovation. Temporary kitchen trailers and storage containers shall be provided to serve as the facility kitchen while the permanent kitchen is shutdown. Trenching and backfilling will be required for installation of utilities to serve the temporary kitchen rental trailers. All work will be performed inside the facility perimeter Security fence. Site visit info : To attend this site visit meeting, you must have a NCIC background check. The NCIC background check form is in the spec book. The form must be emailed to William R Shinkle, williamr.shinkle@ky.gov and Christina M Filburn, christinam.filburn@ky.gov no later than 1-22-25, 3:00 PM, Eastern Time. If your background check is not turned in by this date you will not be permitted to enter the facility. Unless otherwise specified in the Solicitation, questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of bids may not be answered. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED AT THE SITE VISIT. ALL TECHNICAL QUESTIONS SHALL BE EMAILED TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS PROJECT. ALL PROCUREMENT QUESTIONS SHALL BE DIRECTED TO BUYER OF RECORD FOR THIS PROJECT.
