Site work for a mixed-use development in Farmington, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Civitan Golf Course is located between North Dustin Avenue and Butler Avenue and bounded on the south side by 20th Street and on the north end by 30th Street. The site currently offers a 9- hole, par 3 golf course, a Pro-Shop, and a horseshoe area at the southwest corner of the site. The City of Farmington would propose developing pickleball courts that would be located on the southwest portion of the Civitan site, replacing the 28,000 square foot, underutilized horseshoe area. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 14, 2025, per owner, there is no further information or updates on this project since it is still with PRCA and they are still working out the funding and details. Since they are already half-way through the budget year, they may not see this project go out for RFQP for several months if not until FY2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
